Emotional Health and Wellbeing

Who are we?

We are a team of specialist practitioners who support children and young people who face challenges. This may be because they have challenges with social communication and interaction, emotional health or appropriate behaviours.

How can we help you?

We support families, children and young people and we work with schools to identify and assess children and young people around any additional needs. We support schools to make reasonable adjustments to  the environment and curriculum to better children’s experience of school.

How to ask for our involvement?

We offer an open access service. This means anyone, including young people, parents and carers can ring, write or email to request that we consider working with a child or young person. We work with children and young people up to 25 years and their families. We are always happy to give advice over the phone.

What do we offer?

  • Direct Intervention work and support in schools
  • Training for schools and other agencies
  • Observations, advice and strategies
  • Personalised support
  • Modelling good practice
  • Support and advice for families
  • Drop In Consultation
  • Signposting

What help can you get?

When we are working with you and your family we may work with you in the home. We will support with the Early Help process and any other plans including Education Health and Care Plans. We offer advice, support and interventions for education settings and other agency staff where necessary. We provide Parenting courses and you can always contact us for any support and advice.
