Ethnic Minority & Traveller Achievement Service

What we do

The Ethnic Minority and Traveller Achievement Service (EMTAS) works with North Lincolnshire schools to raise the attainment of:

  • Children with English as an additional language (EAL)
  • Gypsy, Roma and Traveller (GRT) children
  • Refugee and Asylum seekers

Our specialist staff keep up to date with the latest national research and development. We work with schools to address gaps in pupil attainment and also collaborate with senior members of staff to embed best practice in supporting minority ethnic and EAL pupils and help them to reach their full potential.

For more information please visit the North Lincolnshire Council website.
