Publishing SEND documents on school websites
Guidance for schools on what they should publish on their website
1. SEN Information Report
You must publish an SEN Information Report showing how you have implemented your policy for pupils with SEN. This should be updated annually.
You should update any changes occurring during the year as soon as possible.
To see an example of an SEN Information Report for a North Lincolnshire school please take a look at our Local SEN Information Report
Details of what should be included in the SEN Information Report can be found in section 6 of the Special educational needs and disability code of practice: 0 to 25 years
2. Equality Information (objectives)
You must publish:
- details of how your school is complying with the public sector equality duty – you should update this every year
- your school’s equality objectives – you should update this at least once every four years
Details of these publishing obligations are set out in Equality Act 2010: advice for schools
3. Medical Needs Policy
North Lincolnshire encourages all schools, academies and colleges to publish a medical needs policy, but it is not a requirement of the Department for Education.
