The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is an NHS service that provides: mental health assessments therapy and intervention for children, young people up to the age of 18 years and their families or identified carers. We are a multidisciplinary team of professionals who provide assessment and interventions for young people and their families which helps them to understand their difficulties and find ways to manage, improve, and reduce the impact of their difficulties in their everyday lives. Examples of mental health conditions we typically see are: Anxiety disorders Depression/low mood Bipolar disorder Psychosis Obsessive-compulsive disorders Eating disorders Self-harm / suicidal thoughts Neurological-developmental disorders where an assessment is required e.g. autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) North Lincolnshire CAMHS provides a range of interventions as identified by NICE Guidelines to address the identified needs of each child/young person/family. This could include: individual, group therapies family work medication where indicated inpatient care if required joint working providing support to other agencies in a consultative manner Help young people access and engage with mental health services

North Lincolnshire CAMHS is an NHS service that provides mental health assessments, therapy and intervention for children, young people up to the age of 18 years and their families or identified carers. We are a multidisciplinary team of professionals based at St Nicholas House, who work with children, young people and their families or identified carers where the child or young person is experiencing mental health issues, or emotional difficulties and are registered with a general practitioner (GP) who is based within the North Lincolnshire geographical area.
