Consultation on moving from statements of SEN and Learning Difficulty Assessments (LDAs) to Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plans. Closes 31 August 2016.
North Lincolnshire LA has received guidance on transitional arrangements from the Department for Education (DfE), which sets out how the legislation relating to children and young people with special educational needs (SEN) will operate between 1 September 2015 and 31 March 2018.
The guidance requires us to consult with parents, young people and professionals to develop a local plan setting out the order in which children and young people with statements and LDAs will transfer to the new system. The consultation is open until 31 August 2016.
